Discover the joys of chamber music with this concert specially designed for kids! Romer String Quartet will take you and your family on a journey through time, exploring the development of chamber music from different musical eras across the past few centuries. Kids will understand the rich texture of this fine and intimate form of music by listening to masterworks from great composers including Haydn, Beethoven and Brahms as well as modern works by Piazzolla and Schulhoff.
The Romer String Quartet is the Quartet in Residence of Premiere Performances of Hong Kong.

About the Romer String Quartet
Named after Hong Kong’s endemic Romer’s Tree Frog, the Romer String Quartet is a genuinely local ensemble formed by musicians born and raised in Hong Kong. The quartet has been recognised as one of the most active string quartets in Hong Kong since its debut in 2013. The Romer String Quartet has performed at Carnegie Hall, Shanghai Concert Hall and various other concert halls and universities in China, Malaysia and the United States, as well as the Hong Kong Arts Festival, LCSD, West Kowloon and RTHK.
