Concert Cancellation Notice
We are sorry to announce that the performances of Harp Superstar Emmanuel Ceysson (21 April, 2020 at the JC Cube, Tai Kwun) are cancelled due to the global outbreak of coronavirus and the travel restrictions/quarantine arrangements that are currently in place. Tickets holders can choose to receive a refund, or donate the value of the ticket and receive a tax receipt.

We are actively looking for a future date in the upcoming season for Emmanuel Ceysson to return.
“Ceysson is a rising star in the harp world…both his technique and his musicianship are virtually flawless.” – The Washington Post
“Far away from stereotypes, this spontaneous man, witty and funny, is…an amazingly alive and curious musician.” – Le Figaro (France)
With his powerful, virtuoso playing, Emmanuel Ceysson sweeps away all the clichés associated with his instrument. Principal Harp of Metropolitan Opera Orchestra, Emmanuel Ceysson is the first harpist ever to win the Gold Medal at three prestigious international competitions.
He returns to Hong Kong with a poetically curated programme of “birds”, exploring how composers across the eras and borders depict the soaring little creatures through beautiful music. Ceysson also plays music from his home country of France by Fauré and Debussy.
His infectious enthusiasm and boundless energy reveal the harp in all its sparkling splendour, in a world where poetry rhymes with temperament.
