Take ten of the most prolific composers of our time, including two Pulitzer Prize winners, combine them with mezzo-soprano superstar and a cutting-edge string quartet, and you have a recipe for a spectacular evening of music.
Ground-breaking string quartet Brooklyn Rider is teaming up with Grammy Award-winning Anne Sofie von Otter to present an eclectic musical programme featuring new works written for them by Pulitzer Prize winner Caroline Shaw and the quartet’s own Colin Jacobsen, luminescent arrangements of songs by John Adams, Elvis Costello, Kate Bush and Bjork, as well as string quartets by Philip Glass and Du Yun.
