5,800 Students, 20 Schools, 1 Big Success!
Australian percussion ensemble B’tutta inspires thousands of kids across Hong Kong!
Over the past two weeks, Australian percussion ensemble B’tutta performed concerts and workshops in 20 schools, delighting nearly 5,800 students through our Chamber Music In Schools programme. Many of these concerts took place in the New Territories, including in Fanling and Sheung Shui.
Here’s what students and teachers had to say:
“I think it was one of the most amazing things I’ve heard!” – Student
“It was a precious chance for them to listen to a live performance, especially this kind of groovy and improvisational music.” – Teacher
B’tutta also performed a free community concert at Hysan Place, a ticketed Family Concert at Sha Tin Town Hall, a concert under the Arts Experience Scheme for Senior Secondary Students at Kwai Tsing Theatre, and conducted two workshops for local music teachers in collaboration with the Education Bureau.
Thank you to B’tutta for brining your amazing rhythm and groove to kids across Hong Kong!
