Following her critically acclaimed performance with Paavo Järvi and the NHK Orchestra in the Hong Kong Arts Festival 2019, Zhang Zuo (Zee Zee) returns to the Hong Kong Cultural Centre with a captivating programme of her signature Ravel and Liszt, including Ravel’s impressionistic Gaspard de la Nuit (Treasurer of the Night), and Liszt’s Années de Pèlerinage (Years of Pilgrimage)
Zee Zee was a prizewinner of the Gina Bachauer International Artists Piano Competition and the 2013 Queen Elizabeth Competition, and is a frequent performer around the world’s greatest concert halls. Her latest album with Deustche Grammophon Ravel & Liszt with Paavo Järvi and the Philharmonia Orchestra was an overwhelming success.
As a passionate chamber musician, Zee Zee also regularly performs with the Z.E.N. Trio, alongside violinist Esther Yoo and cellist Narek Hakhnazaryan, including in Premiere Performances’ Recital Series in 2017 and in the 2016 Hong Kong International Chamber Music Festival.
